Aspects of the SSCP including its focus on the restoration process; its emphasis on earned revenues; and the use of the vessel as an integral part of regional marketing efforts are based on previously successful models developed in Europe. The SSCP has also been inspired by Projects here in the US that have been developing new models of stewardship for our built and natural legacies.
